Our Year 8 students were lucky enough to take part in a practical samba workshop yesterday as part of their world music unit of work. A group of musicians from Coin led this very exciting and vibrant session. Our students were introduced to some very unusual Latin American percussion instruments and were taught how to play some very complex rhythms as part of an ensemble. A good and very noisy time was had by all!
