Year 12 IB Biology and Chemistry students, accompanied by their teachers E McGirl, R Davies and G Singleton went on an educational visit to the Forensics Department of the Comisaria de Policia, Malaga. We were hosted by the Head of the Scientific Department who gave a lecture on the organisation and functioning of the Scientific Department. We were given a tour of the forensic work done in Balistics, Chemical toxicology & analysis and analysis of documentation. Students were given demonstrations of the work done and there was plenty of opportunity for questions and answers. Students were extremely engaged and inspired by what they saw and learned; a thoroughly interesting visit!
