On Tuesday 16 September the Years 10-11 boys Basketball team went to Swans International School to play a friendly match. The team, comprising Saúl Cáliz, Luis Carmona, Andrés López, Daimen Wijsmuller, Xi Zhuang and Tommy Tonge, acquitted themselves very well against a strong Swans team, who had included several 6th formers in their team knowing how good we were from last year’s tournaments. We played 3 periods of 10 minutes. In the first 2 periods, Aloha were very clearly on top with some excellent team play while Daimen used his height and experience to dominate under the basket.
The 3rd time was a more closely fought affair with Swans narrowly outscoring us. However, the objective of the day was achieved with the boys playing well and experiencing a friendly match against another school.
