| Summer School 2006: Monday 3rd July - Friday 28th July
Our ever popular Summer School has had a makeover and is now bigger and better than ever!
Favourite activities have been expanded due to popular demand and there’s an extra session each day to make the most of the amazing array of options. New features include weekly outings, adventure sports and guest appearances.
Academic classes provide a great chance to catch up or get ahead of your friends in a whole host of subjects from Spanish to Science in classrooms equipped with the latest technology. For those with energy to spare there’s all sorts of Sports you can enjoy. Mark your diary now for the Summer School Sports Day at the end of the course.
Summer school runs for 4 weeks and students can choose to join for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or the full 4 weeks. Times: 9.30am – 2pm. Snack and juices are provided.More on activities.
3-5 years: Social interaction will be encouraged by participating in musical games, singing and dance. Literacy/language, mathematic and science skills will be enhanced through activities such as story telling, sand/water play, computer, board games and cookery. Creative and aesthetic development will be fostered through art and craft activities – colouring, painting, cutting, modelling, sewing etc.) which will also aid fine motor control. There is also the outdoor activity area for the children to enjoy, with its secure, soft surface. (Children in this age group do not participate in activities outside of the College). |
