Drama

Drama at Aloha College Marbella is a dynamic and engaging part of school life, offering students the opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence and develop essential life skills. It is a powerful tool for personal growth, encouraging expression, empathy and collaboration.

Through drama, students enhance communication, leadership and teamwork, while discovering new ways to understand themselves and others.

Student led

Students are actively involved in the creation and performance of a large-scale theatrical production, gaining experience not only as performers but also in areas such as scriptwriting, direction, set and costume design and stage management. Under the guidance of our specialist Performing Arts, Music and Set Design teachers, students are supported throughout the creative process, from concept to curtain call.

Our co-curricular drama club further enhances this experience by bringing together students from across year groups to collaborate, rehearse and perform.

One of the highlights of our drama provision is Theatre Thursdays,  a weekly performance event held in our modern Drama Studio. It provides a platform for students to showcase work developed in lessons, drama clubs or independent projects. This informal yet meaningful setting allows students to present pieces that matter to them, gaining real-world experience in performing and production.

Led by our Student Arts Ambassadors and supported by Performing Arts staff, Theatre Thursdays are a truly student-led celebration of talent and expression, open to the whole school community.
