Music
At Aloha College Marbella, music plays a vital role in the life of the school. Music is taught by subject specialists in both Primary and Secondary, ensuring students benefit from expert instruction throughout their musical journey. Whether it is building confidence, strengthening memory or simply experiencing the joy of performance, music offers a platform for students to grow as expressive, thoughtful and connected individuals.
Outside of timetabled lessons, students are encouraged to immerse themselves in our vibrant co-curricular music programme. From beginners to advanced performers, our clubs and ensembles offer something for everyone in a supportive and inspiring environment. Opportunities include:
School Production – bringing together singers, guitarists, pianists, and percussionists to support our annual productions with live music
Pop Band – a training group for students passionate about popular music, offering regular performance opportunities and skill development
Singing – weekly rehearsals for both Primary and Secondary students, encouraging vocal development and performance throughout the year
Every academic year, a new school band is formed — a dynamic and inclusive ensemble that reflects the diversity and creativity of our student body.
Participation in musical activities goes far beyond learning notes and rhythms. These clubs and ensembles offer students the chance to:
✔ Develop musicianship and creative expression
✔ Build confidence and communication skills
✔ Learn the value of perseverance and teamwork
✔ Experience the pride of performance and collaboration
✔ Through music, students connect with themselves finding new ways to be their best.
